Research package which comprehensively:

Company Workshops
Two-day to week-long customized introduction to biomimicry and/or continuing biomimicry education workshop. Involves hands-on learning directly applicable to client organization and can be held at client’s facility or in a natural setting, such as Peru, the Galapagos Islands, or Montana.
Biologists at the Design Table (BaDT) Strategic Consulting
Client-specific consulting at the executive/management team level for organizations interested in incorporating nature’s principles into their practices.
Biologists at the Design Table (BaDT) Working on Company Design Team
BaDT who works with a company throughout their design process, providing a biomimetic perspective to aid in designing better products and processes.

Lectures
On-site lecture by an expert in biomimicry: Janine Benyus, world-renowned author of "Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature”. Dr. Dayna Baumeister, Co-Founder of the Biomimicry Guild, or one of the Biomimicry Guild’s Biologists at the Design Table. Lectures offer client’s employees exposure to the biomimetic perspective and methodology and are designed to inspire and increase client’s employees understanding of the potential mentors that surround them in their local flora and fauna. 45-90 min. lectures followed by Q&A.
We also operate a speakers bureau of 15-20 speakers who have studied, researched and taken workshops or advanced training with the founders of the Biomimicry Guild. Biomimetic Product Report
Report listing the current (and in development) biomimetic products that achieve a specified function or which are sold in a specified industry. The information about the manufacturers of the products and their contact information is included as is an assessment of how sustainable and biomimetic each product is based on what can be obtained from publicly available information.
Dial-a-Biologist
On-call biological expert who can answer client’s technical questions and explain technical subjects in understandable and appropriate format to facilitate the incorporation of biology into client’s design process.
Contact Referrals/Brokerage Service
Connections with researchers and scientists whose expertise can help client learn more about nature’s strategies for specific design problems (e.g. connecting the mangrove specialist with the desalinisation engineer).
Feasibility Analysis/Plan of Action (Stand Alone)
Report laying out a Feasibility Analysis and plan of action for a specified design solution, based on an organism idea generated through prior work with the Biomimicry Guild or suggested internally by client’s company. The first phase of the report will assess and describe the technical viability of developing the idea into an end product. If the idea is deemed viable, the Guild will proceed to the second phase, which provides an identification and assessment of potential industry partners to work with on this product and an outline of the actions needed to realize a well biomimicked design.
BADTification of InHouse Biologists
Develops in-house BaDT resources by training employees who have biology backgrounds in the biomimicry perspective and methodology.
Biological Expert Head Hunter Service
Locates a suitable Biologist to join the staff of client’s organization to assist with biomimetic endeavours at the company.
Corporate University Curriculum development
Customized Biomimicry curriculum for corporate university programs.
Food Web Workshop
On-site analysis of client’s organization’s ecosystem, during which the sources and outlets of client’s company's nutrient flows and waste streams are discussed and suggestions for how client’s company may better fit within its habitat are made. Can be carried out in conjunction with a Green Audit provided by a partner company.
